Born in Pinton , Mr. Liu, Shen-hsien received his Bachelor Degree from Soochow University with majoring in piano. Being also a percussionist, recorder player and composer, his copositions contain both of art and commercial music. His arrangements of Taiwanese Folk Songs are performed by Evergreen Symphony Orchestra frequently.

Mr. Liu is an active composer with many cooperations with other institutions, such as the Lan Yang Dancers, Wow-Wow Theatre Company, Public Television Service Taiwan Online, Thunder Tune Music corporation, Game music and several ad-music. His compositions include symphony, chamber music and solo music. In the summer of 2004, Mr. Liu began to study computer music in Institute of National Chiao Tung University and start to compose the interactive computer music.
