Prof. Lo Shih-Jung received a B.M. degree and an M.M. degree from National Taiwan Normal University, respectively. During his years at National Taiwan Normal University, he studied musical analysis and composition with Prof. Chen Mao-shuen.
He is now an Adjunct Professor of the Department of Music at the National Taichung University of Education. As a member of "FORMUSICA", he had published compositions including Sonatina, Autumn Yearning: Three series, Melaleuca and Squirrel, Three Preludes, Sonata, Lushan Impression, Nostalgia, The Gateless Gate, Silence • Reverence • Pure • Realm, Moss on the Bell Ring for piano and Poet's Love, Bring in the Wine, Endless Yearning for voice.
