Taiwanese youth composer, graduated from the Master's program in Composition and Theory of Chinese Music at Chinese Culture University under the mentorship of Professor Lo-Lung Wang. In addition to composing in various styles of Chinese music, I also endeavor to integrate Eastern and Western instruments and musical materials. In recent years, I have been experimenting with incorporating unique Taiwanese cultural sounds into my compositions. Moreover, I have embarked on field trips to collect the most precious music and historical assets from Taiwan's indigenous peoples, which serve as materials and inspiration for my compositions. I have participated in numerous interdisciplinary collaborations, composing for theater, musical theater, music education, and commercial performances. In my academic papers, I utilize Gestalt psychology as a blueprint for composition, aiming to break through established impressions and performance methods in music.
In 2020 and 2022, commissioned by the Chinese Music Association, I composed two pieces of music, "Falling Northwest" and "The Cries on Dongyin Island," drawing inspiration from the cultural characteristics of Taiwan to narrate intriguing stories.
