Attended Université de Paris VIII - Saint-Denis (Matrise Nationale Musique) in 1985, Instructed by Dr. Daniel CHARLES, majored in Music Theory, Thought of Musical Esthetics, And also studied Music Composing and Movie Music Composing with Dr. Laurent PETITGIRARD in École Normale de Musique de Paris.
Studied the Contemporary Technique of Music Composing with Yoshihisa Taïra, and joined Institut de recherche et coordination acoustique/musique (IRCAM) to investigate the computer using in music composing, and also went abroad to Darmstadt to study the music composing and Contemporary Technique of Music Composing in German in 1994.
Took the Chairman of Music Department in National Taiwan University of Arts (NTUA) formerly.
He is a member of Asian Composers League of Republic of China National Committee (ACL-Taiwan); President of a Council in Taiwanese Computer Music Association (TCMA); Chairman of Applied Music Department in Tainan National College of The Arts (TNCA).
Teaching the Music Composing in the Music Department of National Taiwan University of Arts (NTUA), and Applied Music Department in Tainan National College of The Arts (TNCA).
