Born 1989 in Taiwan, Hsin-Chun is a percussionist and pianist. She started her piano and percussion studies at the age of 5 and 10. Besides the classical music studies, she works with composers and search for the new expression in music by different material, also in the domain with the new technologie.
Hsin-Chun received her Bachelor in percussion at National Taiwan Normal University, her master degree at Conservatory National Superieur Musique et Danse de Lyon, and Artist diploma at Conservatory National Superieur Musique et Danse de Paris. She was a resident at Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris in 2018-2019.
She started her path of creation from the composition of percussion ensemble, and presented her first theatre musical in 2015 Hourglass. At the same year, she created rebirth for solo percussion, live-electronic and video with composer REN Shihong with the support of GRAME music creation center in Lyon, later, they created together Replica for solo percussion and one female danser which was presented at 104 centquatre in Paris. She also presented her music theatre Miror and Savage Night later in France and Taiwan. Hsin-Chun was the winner of Fondation Banque populaire and Mécénat musical Société Générale in France.
