Ying-Chieh Wang is a composer, arranger and pianist from Taipei, Taiwan. She graduated from Scoring for Film and Multimedia at New York University's Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development and studied with Mark Suozzo and Irwin Fish when she was in the program.
She has composed various genre of music including multimedia and concert music. Furthermore, she has many experience collaborating with animators and directors, trying different kinds of music and challenging herself musically and professionally. After returning to Taiwan, she is continuing her career including music education, composing, and participated in the production of documentaries, short films, animations, and other video and music. Currently she is teaching in Taipei City University and other music conservatories.
