Music commentary
"Revival" symbolizes the supreme meaning of life. In addition to the life and death, and the endless circulation and cycles in the living world. If we put the meaning of Revival in humans world, passing through consolation and a tranquil rest or struggle and transcendentalism, our torn mind or astrayed soul can gradually come to center and life again, and march towards the broad and bright future.

Another idea in the piece is the hope to describe the concept of environmental conservation by the rich tone color and large energy of the orchestra. The composer hopes human on earth can stop improper and excessive development. For the next generation, we should nurture the damaged environment, and make gradually revive it, and a beautiful paradise for all once again.

After a period of thought, the composer began writing in the Spring Festival in February 2007, and completed the first draft in August of the same year. It was revised in June 2013. The composer does not want to use too abstract musical language as a description. In order to sing joyous life and beautiful nature, the front section of the music uses different styles of classical, romantic, and impressions. When shadows, storms, and new life emerge in the middle, different modern methods such as atonality and freedom are used. Although the techniques are diversified, they strive to be relevant in the use of materials.
