The young poet Yang Huang died in a traffic accident, he was only 25 years old then. Nevertheless he left a lots of works, in which many had fantastic and beautiful sincerity. He wrote especially for children many innocent and carefree poems that deeply touch people’s heart. This piece was written for clarinet with bass clarinet, narrator and electronic music. The text described a king of sun (bass clarinet) who ordered the raindrops (clarinet) to clear the sky. At last, the rainbow appeared and the joy spread in the sky. Both instruments are played by one performer. This piece was dedicated to professor Sung, Wei-Te.
