Music commentary
There was a Chinese ancient legend called “The dream of Nan-Ko”. It talked about a young man, tired and fell asleep under a tree. When he woke up, he found that he became ten years older and everything was totally different. Adopting this concept, I wrote “The new dream of Nan-Ko”. Nevertheless, it changed to an old man who slept under a tree. When he woke up hours later, he then found that he had become a young man. He was extremely happy, but had to face the challenge of the new world. This piece is divided into three sections. In the second section, I used the electronic music to make a dreamy atmosphere effect. And in this section, the stage lighting should be turned off, only very dim lighting allowed if necessary.
