Music commentary
This piece of music was commissioned by Mr. Hu Ertai, professor of the history department of Taiwan Normal University. Give the mixed choir with flute and triangle iron. There is also a version for three chorus of the same voice. (Also suitable for senior children's choir) The lyrics show the scene in the snow with imagination. Calling for the girl in the snow, don't wander in the ice and snow. The development of music is divided into four sections according to the mood of the lyrics: The first three paragraphs are calling on the little girl to avoid the snow and go home quickly. It was not until the fourth paragraph that it turned out that she was a snow melt in the snow, not a little girl. Some surprises and sighs! The music is written in Chinese-toned scales, starting with the introduction of flute and triangle iron. After many different modal terminations and changes in speed, with the meaning of the lyrics, the third segment reached its climax. At the end of the song, with the recitation and sigh of vocals, it returns to the peak of counterpoint and harmony. The composition of the music is developed with the counterpoint technique, which has the style of Chinese culture and is presented with a few elements of modern music.
