The Voice of Green Stone

A large Greenstone, by the creek, in the forest
Over the years, the sun and rain will turn black, green, and hard
Where it stands more dependent, closer, and more reliable 
Taiwan is actually a big Greenstone! 
 
The motivation for writing this music is to review and care for the local culture. Because of its long-term nurturing and nourishment, it embraces a pious heart and develops broad thinking, injecting it into the enthusiasm of music and turning it into notes.

I studied guitar when I was young. I was immersed in the atmosphere of dreams and romance. I didn't know what the local culture was, but I was absorbed in it in the mist. Long and focused on learning Western music. At the time of writing, I still relies mainly on Western techniques and viewpoints. Although the elements of local folk songs are often added to future works, it still cannot be separated from the Western thinking as a starting point, so this music is a first attempt in different ways.

The music adopts a free form, although based on the local style, it avoids familiar folk songs and innovates its own grammar. At the same time, the elements of modern music are also added, taking into account the characteristics of guitar instruments, and some special techniques are used in part to give play to their due characteristics.
