Music commentary
The musical form of this work was inspired by Da-Qu from Tang Dynasty. The composer transformed the aesthetic of Chinese calligraphy in music composition, to express curves and turns of the brush, degrees of saturation of the ink, breath in the strokes, and the use of space. To create fresh sonic texture of traditional sound.
