I was born in 1990 and I have studied Chinese music since I was young. When I graduated with a bachelor degree in Chinese music from Tainan National University of Art, I wanted to pursue a broader vision of music. So I completed my master's degree in music majoring in composition at Taipei National University of Art.
At the same time, I became interested in traditional Taiwanese music, especially Beiguan music. So I joined the Changhua Lichunyuan Beiguan Club and learned Beiguan from traditional practice.
Now, I hope to use my own perspective to deconstruct Beiguan music, and use this as a material to create interesting works.
