《兒時情景》係由《祭》、《廟會》、《布袋戲》、《牛．烏秋．白鷺鷥》與《廟會》等五首曲子所組成，創作於1984/85年間。它是作曲家於1982年自歐洲返國後，回憶兒時在埔里鄉間的情景。
