CURATOR PROFILE
Cheng Shao-Hung working as a design project manager and independent curator. His project received iF GOLD Award 2021 and Good Design GOLD Award 2020. Past exhibitions include Why did you come to Taiwan? (Taipei, 2019), Osiris and Ganesha (Mexico, 2017), Fiction in Social Reality (Taipei, 2016), WISE SPHERE (Malaysia, 2016), published Prophets in 2014, a book interviewed 8 influential artists in Taiwan.
CURATORIAL INTERESTS
Cheng Shao-Hung is interested in the topic of identity and colonialism, focusing on the Spanish colonial history in Taiwan during 17th century, where he exploring the possibilities of Taiwanese decolonization through sandbox experiments, usually in form of exhibitions.
