Looking at Contemporary Curatorial Methods in Taiwan—Observations on Five NCAF-Funded Curators
Based on the Production Grants to Independent Curators in Visual Arts (PGICVA) of the National Culture and Arts Foundation (NCAF) and with reference to regular grants, this paper selected five curators with different curatorial approaches as objects of study. Through interviews, the author examines their personal curatorial ideas, methods, contexts, and connections; she treats curating as a practice and attempts to explore possibilities for viewing Taiwan's contemporary curatorial landscape.
