CURATOR PROFILE
Art critic, and curator. Chang is also a member of AICA (International Association of Art Critics). She is an Associate Professor at Department of Arts and Design, National Tsing Hua University.
CURATORIAL INTERESTS
My researches center on two topics, one is the ‘Taiwaneseness’ in Taiwanese contemporary art. In particular, I am interested in the emerging of local theories, especially the relationship between art and society. Within this broad scheme, I have conducted researches on the meaning and practices of ‘Socially Engaged Art’ (2020), ‘Asian Biennale’ (2022), and ‘the Emerging of “Contemporary” Art’ (2022) in Taiwan. Another research topic is contemporary painting in Taiwan.
