Born 1977 in Taipei, Taiwan, lives in Taipei.
CURATORIAL INTERESTS
My research includes contemporary painting and photographic image in contemporary Taiwanese art.
Currently focusing on drawing, writing and painting in contemporary Taiwanese art.
Writing is a way of looking at the artist’s self and local culture. It subtly integrates the past and the present, the self and the masses, Chinese and Western cultures, interior and image. Xie Sheng (Writing Life): “Writing-ness” in Paintings of Taiwanese Artists is a recently completed and unpublished book.
